Ryan makes a list of all the reasons he can't have sex with his band. It starts with the most important—he loves them too much—and ranges through the rational—he doesn't want to see this end up on Behind the Music—and on into the insane—condoms can get expensive, when you're probably using at least two, though more likely four per encounter, and if wanna get off more than once a night you're probably looking at more like 6-8, and what if they all wear different sizes, then you have to buy a combo pack or something, and that much latex has to be bad for the environment or baby dolphins, or something.
He means to destroy it, but he ends up doodling some flowers and fairies in the margins, and they're pretty, so he just tucks the paper in one of his older journals and buries it in the pile.

Angsty Panic fic

So I just began work on my angsty Panic! fanfic yet. It's a post-split fic, peppered with flashbacks, told in third person but following Jon. It's not really any pairing, but about the group as a whole. I was inspired to start writing it when I thought about what a great unit the four of them used to be and then how they barely talk anymore and it made me sad. This is the story of four friends, who are amazingly close, and how they fall apart. It's currently called "The Bitterest Heart."
Here, have an excerpt:
Ryan is folded up on the armchair, all long legs and arms and dark eyes. "When did you stop trusting me?" he asks.
Jon scratches the back of his head. "Um," he says. "Probably when you started disappearing without any word for months at a time." He doesn't mean for it to come out as bitchy as it does. He was just trying to answer Ryan's question truthfully.
"You didn't have to call Spencer," says Ryan resentfully.
Jon doesn't say that maybe Ryan's habitual vanishing acts were only a part of it. That he was looking for an excuse to hear Spencer's voice again, and he didn't think that Spencer would have listened to him if he hadn't said Ryan's name within the first five seconds of conversation. "Well, it wasn't like I could've called Brendon," he says instead, then immediately regrets it.
Ryan's eyes narrow dangerously. "No," he says, and Jon hears pain, spite, desperation in his voice. "You burned that bridge a long time ago."
"You are such a fucking hypocrite," slips out of Jon's mouth before he can stop himself.
